Jenny Hill

Jenny Hill
Co-owner
Jenny Hill hails from Maryland where she attended Frostburg State University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor Degree in Theater Arts. In 2008, Jenny moved to Los Angeles where she pursued her dream as a professional game show contestant appearing on shows such as The Price is Right, Let's Ask America and Idiotest. Along the way, Jenny held several positions in the sales and marketing space until she and Catherine Keefer started JC Room Blocks in 2012. As JC Room Blocks marks their 10 year anniversary in 2022, Jenny is so proud of the business she and Catherine have built together! Jenny presently resides in Canyon Country, California with her husband, Dan and two kids. She enjoys live theater, true crime podcasts and hosting themed parties.

Catherine Keefer

Catherine Keefer
Co-owner
Catherine Keefer grew up in Cary, NC and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education. She later moved to Los Angeles, CA where she resided for fifteen years. During her time in Los Angeles, she worked in various positions in the music industry, The Getty Foundation at The Getty Center, and later served as Director of Operations at a Convention and Meeting planning company. In 2012, Jenny Hill and Catherine Keefer co-founded JC Room Blocks, specializing in hotel room block set up and management for weddings and special events. Catherine moved to Apex, NC in July 2020 with her husband and two daughters. In her off time, she loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Jennifer Holland
Senior Account Manager & A/R
Jennifer grew up in Apex, NC and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She joined the JC Room Blocks team in 2018 part-time and now has a full time role as our Senior Account Manager. She brings over 15 year's experience in accounting and finance, accounts payable/receivable, billing, customer service, and managerial support. Jennifer currently resides in Willow Spring, NC with her husband and two children and enjoys traveling, going to sporting events & concerts, and spending time with her family and friends.

Shannon Riggs

Shannon Riggs
Project and Account Manager
Shannon Riggs works with clients to give their groups options for hotel accommodations. She negotiates competitive rates, finalizes hotel agreements, tracks room block progress, and updates our clients. She has a Bachelor of Science in Textiles, Apparel and Merchandising from Northern Illinois University and has a strong background in retail management. Shannon currently resides in Naperville, IL with her husband and two kids. She loves raising her family in the town that she grew up in. Shannon enjoys swimming and spending time with friends and family.

Melanie Boyle

Melanie Boyle
Sales and Account Manager
Melanie Boyle grew up in Granite Bay, CA and graduated from AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy) with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. She later moved to New York City where she resided for five years pursuing her love for Dance and Theater. After living in NYC she decided to move back closer to home and pursue her other love for management and began managing for Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in 2011. During 2020 when she started growing her family, the flexibility of working for JC Room Blocks became more enticing so she joined the team as an account tracker. Soon thereafter she took on more responsibilities and became a part of our sales team while continuing to track room blocks. Melanie loves spending time with family and friends and going wine tasting!

Betty Humeniuk

Betty Humeniuk
Sales and Account Manager
Betty Humeniuk primarily grew up in the Raleigh/Cary area since moving here with her family and sister, Jennifer Holland from Connecticut back in 1991. She worked in IT for 12 years and later got her degree in Medical Assisting and has worked with a local Cancer Center. Betty was approached by her sister Jennifer, and long time friend Catherine, to join the JCRB team part-time and over the past year has transitioned into a full time sales support position. Betty currently lives in Knightdale, NC with her husband and 2 dogs. In her off time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family and especially her 2 nieces!
